We are able to help customers determine the correct part number when we have information about the Genie scissor lift serial number. The location of the serial number has changed over the years.
Older Slab Scissors
The serial label is located under the scissor stack, so you will not find the label unless the machine is elevated 4-5 feet. This is typically the case for machine built prior to 2011.
Newer Slab Scissors
The serial label is located under the scissor stack, so you will not find the label unless the machine is elevated 4-5 feet. You can also find the stamping on the frame without the need to raise the platform. This is typically the case for machine built after 2011.
