There can be different names used for the cylinders on a Genie Z Boom lift. The important thing to differentiate between them is what they might be called and their location on the machine. As you can see in this diagram below: The lift cylinder attaches to the mid pivot. The secondary lift cylinder the "elevate" cylinder. You would find this in the secondary boom section. While on the other hand the Extension "extend" cylinder will be found in the primary boom section. The master cylinder pins to the main boom "slave" is another named used for this. Identifying the stamping on every Genie cylinder is necessary for finding the corresponding seal kit.
